No residency is required, players from any location can register for any Academy.

There is no better way to improve your ball skills during the spring season than a 6-Week Academy with 3D. Because this training is intended to supplement your team training, we have the luxury of focusing on individual skills. As your season progresses, team coaches must spend more and more time on concepts like positioning, team shape, starting positions on restarts and other tactical issues. Enrolling in 3D's 6-Week Academy will ensure that players continue to get the touches and technical instruction that they need to develop their technical skill. After all, the reward for being in the right place at the right time is getting the ball, so it is imperative that players have the skill to keep the ball and advance it when they get it! All 3D's team of professional coaches have all played at the collegiate level and have demonstrated mastery of the games technical skills: passing, shooting, dribbling, and receiving. From them players will learn:

How to control the first touch for balls received on the ground and in the air
How to pass a ball on the ground and serve a ball in the air
How to strike a shot off the dribble and off of a pass
How to redirect a cross into a shot on goal
Advanced 1v1 dribbling techniques
How to continue to improve ball skills on their own

Grasshopper Camp ~

(Ages 4-6) Our Grasshoppers will learn the FUN-damentals of soccer… most importantly that soccer is FUN! FUN! FUN! Each day the Grasshoppers will enjoy a series of games and activities designed to familiarize them with soccer basics such as: ball skills, sharing, listening and responding to coach’s instructions, making friends, and having a blast. This short camp is a great way for young players to get their feet wet in a safe, fun environment with TRAINED coaches. Every camper will receive a: "3D Soccer" T-shirt, $10.00 Coupon towards future 3D Soccer Programs and a Certificate of Completion.

Skills Camp

(Ages 7-16) Detailed instruction in dribbling, tackling, passing, receiving, and finishing. The coaches will focus on a different topic each day and will progress from fundamentals to the tactical application of that day's skill. Daily scrimmages allow every player to put learning into practice immediately. Participants should come with ball, shin guards, water bottle, lunch, snacks, and a smile! Every camper will receive a:"3D Soccer" T-shirt, $10.00 Coupon towards future 3D Soccer Programs, Certificate of Completion, and Training Tips.

Advanced Camp

(By Tryout Only for Ages 12-18) Training in agility, dribbling, defending, passing, receiving, finishing, and tactical decision making. This Camp caters to experienced players seeking intensive camp experience! Players wishing to attend Advanced Camp must register for Skills Camp. On the first day of camp, the 3D staff will select those players deemed eligible for Advanced Camp. Selection for Advanced Camp will be based on the player’s ball skills, tactical knowledge, and the learning maturity of each player. Those individuals selected for Advanced Camp will spend part of each day away from their age group working with the Camp Director on advanced techniques and tactics. You do not need to notify us of your desire to attend Advanced Camp; players who belong in Advanced Camp should, generally speaking, stand out from the crowd in the course of play.

Prizes!

We believe in the power and effectiveness of positive reinforcement. We developed the "Most Coachable Player" award to recognize players who express the qualities associated with eagerness to learn and improve. This award was also created to provide an example for all participants and to set the tone for a focus on learning. Each day, this award is given to one player from each group along with a prize!

Awards Ceremony

At the end of each camp we also have an Awards Ceremony where players are recognized for excellence in other areas. Awards vary based on the qualities and abilities of the players present each week but often include "Most Valuable Defense", "Most Valuable Offense", "MVP" and of course "Most Coachable Player". Several players from each group are recognized and the week's "Most Coachable Player" from each group gets a prize along with their certificate
